Transitions press conference       Presentation of #Lovelight, the new social campaign featuring Federica Pellegrini

Milan, 25th September 2019

A Press Conference to present @Lovelight, the new Transitions’ Social campaign, was hold on the 25th of September 2019, in the hearth of Milan, at Rosa Grand Hotel in Piazza Fontana, behind the Duomo. Federica Pellegrini was the special Guest Star. Transitions – brand leader in the field of photocromatic lenses – boasts 63% brand awareness in Italy, with an estimate of 70 million people wearing them and a fanbase of satisfied customers that reaches almost 90%.


BRIEF

Almost 200 guests have participated to the press conference: trade press, Kol, Opinion leaders, supporters of Transitions Groups and Best Clients. Why? To preview #Lovelight, the Transitions’ influencer project that was born and lives on social networks and is mainly interpreted by an influencer follower by one million people: Federica Pellegrini, who will interpret Transitions in her everyday life through the Instagram profile (@kikkafede88) with a mix of sport and beauty, like a real champion of style. The team is completed by 4 influencers who have 200K-250K followers and reflect a similar variety of styles and approaches to consumption and who will interpret Transitions from different points of view: Irene Colzi (@ireneccloset) interprets the fashion side and the colours; Digital Modern Family (@digitalmodernfamily) will give some space to the lifestyle experiences told by a mum, a dad and a daughter; Giovanni Masiero (@giovannimasiero), model and athlete, will reveal the sport-glamourous soul of the brand; the geek and e-games youtuber Jacopo D’Alesio (@jakidale) will express Transitions’ technologic and brilliant side.


ATTIVITÀ

Zed_Comm took care of the research of a suggested location for its client, the selection of the final location, the research and management of the vendors (Photographer, Video Maker, Hostess Service…), the coordination of the event and all the PR and press office activities on the press involved on the campaign. The activities took place before, during and after the event. Zed_Comm also took care of the invites and recalls of the Key Opinion Leaders linked to the field.


RISULTATI

The participation of the press was a great success, also thanks to the presence of national and thematic TVs (Mediaset, Sky, Class Life), all the trade press and a lot of lifestyle, fashion and sport journalists. There was also the intervention of two national press agencies, Ansa and Adnkronos, so that the news could be present on numerous daily newspapers and free press. Now they are reaping the benefits of the broadcasting of the news on the TV, trade media, general and lifestyle media.

INCOMING EVENT AT MONTECUCCO

20 years of DOC Montecucco
Zed_Comm organized an incoming visit to Montecucco with twenty journalists and bloggers from Italy and abroad, from the US and EU. A three-day event that involved visits to the area and wineries taking part in the initiative, culminating in a press conference and a masterclass in older vintages, led by the President of the Montecucco Wines Consortium, and a Gala dinner at the Montecucco Estate.


BRIEF

A brief history of Montecucco
An analysis of twenty years of history and production in this small part of Tuscany, nestled between the Morellino of Scansano and Brunello of Montalcino.


ACTIVITIES

Event organization
Comprehensive management of activities.  On an operative-logistical level Zed_Comm dealt with the selection and management of various suppliers and preparation of the tour program. Press office activities: drafting of the description of each individual tour (with the relative wineries), the press pack and conference slides.


RESULT

Three days in the company of producers and journalists to discover together the history of this niche production – the wines of Amiata – marked by the goals that have been achieved, the successes but also the difficulties that the Designation has been faced with over the years.

An all-female lunch for the winery in Capalbio
The second lunch after the one in 2016. Julia Weber, joint owner along with her husband Georg of the winery in Capalbio, which is nestled in the hills between Capalbio and the sea, welcomed over a dozen journalists, all women, for lunch at the historic Milan restaurant Ponte de Ferr on 24th October.


BRIEF

A welcoming and informal way to meet the press
Promote the winery by organizing a lunch with an “alternative” approach, like a romance novel in a prestigious location consistent with the chosen mood.


ACTIVITY

An eye for detail
Planning of the event, choice of the most appropriate location, selection of the guests to be invited and attention to every aspect of the lunch. Subsequent follow up and press review.


RESULT

A not to be forgotten event
Not the usual press meeting but a welcoming and informal lunch to exchange views, an appointment to chat “between girls” of course, but also a special occasion to taste Monteverro’s wines accompanied by the splendid cuisine of Chef Ivan Milani and the unique and convivial service of the owner of Pont de Ferr, Maida Mercuri.

BOTTIGLIE APERTE 

Milan, 7-8 October 2018

Bottiglie Aperte, organised by ABS Wine&spirits (Aliante Group) involved over 250 Companies from all around the Country and representing the Italian world of wine. Over 900 labels were available to taste in walk-around tastings, dedicated conventions, masterclasses led by the most important sector experts, prizegiving and gala dinners. The appointment in Milan was a great opportunity for the best of the Italian wine world to exchange views and do business.


BRIEF

The Milan Wine Week B2B event
The seventh edition of Bottiglie Aperte was the opening event at Milano Wine Week, as well as the largest B2B event. This year Superstudio Più debuted as the new location, with the objective being to increase visibility in the media and boost numbers.


ACTIVITIES

All-encompassing Press Office
Coordination of press office activities before, during and after the event. Organization of the opening press conference. On-site management of journalists involved.


RESULT

The exhibition was in the spotlight!
More than 5 thousand Horeca operators attended with a 25% increase compared to last year and a 70% increase in participating Companies making Bottiglie Aperte an unmissable event for trade and passionate wine enthusiasts. Excellent coverage was achieved thanks to the great attention that local and national media, both trade and not, dedicated to the event and work has already begun for the 2019 edition, which will take place 6-7th October.
