Gisada makes its debut at COSMOPROF 2023

From 16 to 20 March, the 54th edition of the world’s leading trade fair for the entire professional cosmetics and beauty industry, Cosmoprof WorldWide Bologna, was held in Bologna. The trade fair dedicated to the world of perfumery and cosmetics brings together the offerings of the world’s best brands. Gisada – the Swiss perfume brand born in Zurich in 2013 that is sold in Italy from September 2021 in all Douglas shops – made its debut in this setting. The Swiss beauty brand’s stand was indeed present in a special space within the Bologna fair, the Extraordinary Gallery, intended for luxury beauty companies and manufacturers of highly selected brands, attentive to the raw materials used and the packaging. The perfume company, with an elegant, modern stand, chose refined glass displays with all its 100% Made in Switzerland references inside and a large billboard of its latest product launch, Ambassador Intense, with an exceptional Italian testimonial, Michele Morrone. In this setting, the company presented its fragrances: from the Ambassador line launched in 2019 to the latest two new products, the Ambassadora fragrance launched in 2021 and the new entry for 2022, Ambassador Intense, an even more intense and lively reinterpretation of Ambassador Men. In addition to the 4 Ambassador references already distributed in Italy at Douglas stores, Gisada has exclusively presented its ‘Luxury Collection’ line composed of 5 fragrances: Gisada Imperial, Gisada Iris, Gisada Oud, Gisada Rose and Gisada Royal. The packaging is even more refined and precious, as are the selected ingredients that give life to extremely high-quality fragrances that leave a very pleasant trail.

Monteverro stars at Park Hyatt: a lunch to present the first certified organic wine vintage

A jewelled winery in Capalbio, 50 hectares nestled between Capalbio and the sea; an exceptional location – Park Hyatt – and a fine dining Milanese restaurant – Pellico 3 – with a talented chef at the helm, Guido Paternollo, who offers colourful, modern cuisine; all with a story to tell from its origins to the present day. Plus the presence of the protagonists, Julia and Georg Weber, owners of the estate. It’s a done deal! A press lunch with a ten or so wine, tourism and lifestyle journalists – turned into the sharing of a story: how Monteverro was born, how it has evolved and how its wines have evolved, the storytelling evolved through the tasting of some significant vintages of the flagship references – Chardonnay, Tinata, Terra di Monteverro and the Monteverro – up to 2019, the first with organic certification, which is the seal on a virtuous path. This gathering was filled with many talks, smiles, plans for the future and the sharing of impressions about wines and the world of wine. A press lunch is always a time for reflection and in-depth discussion between the various protagonists. The next step is the winery visit. Stay Tuned.

A journey into the heart of Irpinia together with the Fonzone family

On Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 March, a press tour to discover one of Italy’s most interesting wine territories. Accompanying the journalists on this fascinating itinerary through the heart of Irpinia was the Fonzone family, which for the event presented Mattoda’, its new 100% Aglianico red wine, signed by the consulting oenologist Luca D’Attoma. After the presentation and tour of the cellar with a preview tasting of the new vintages tapped from the tanks, there was a gala dinner by Michelin-starred chef Gennaro Esposito, who delighted guests with his creations enhanced by the full range of Fonzone wines, from Falanghina to Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo. The next day, a tour through the vineyards to discover the special features of these extraordinary autochthonous vines. A two-day intense experience among Irpinia’s scents, flavours and flourishing nature.

”mareMMa, the Nature of Wine”

The fourth edition of ‘mareMMa, the Nature of Wine‘ was held on 6 March. The event, which presented the largest selection of labels from all the DOC and DOCG appellations of the Maremma Toscana, Montecucco and Morellino di Scansano, took place in the traditional location of the central hall of the Granaio Lorenese di Spergolaia in Alberese in the province of Grosseto.

mareMMMa is an event that is the result of the synergy between the Consortia of the three Denominations that represent the oenological excellence of a territory that is peculiar because it is uncontaminated and has a growing reputation on national and international markets. A promotional model of great informative and educational impact for professionals in the sector – sommeliers, restaurateurs, wine merchants, distributors – to whom the initiative is addressed and that makes the union a driving force for the territory. Zedcomm, in its role as press office of the Consorzio Tutela vini della Maremma Toscana, took care of promoting the event through the press, which was also invited to attend, and documented the live event on social media. More than 400 labels were tasted, representing about 80 wineries. A unique opportunity to taste all the types of wines of the three denominations, characterised by very different territories and climates that bring different characteristics and characters to the wide range of red, white and rosé wines.
