In Modica the 21st edition of the event created by Assovini Sicilia  which involved 100 journalists from all over the world. It was the town of Modica and its baroque setting that hosted the most important itinerant showcase of Sicilian wine, conceived and organised by Assovini Sicilia to attracts journalists from around the world every year. From May 6 to 10, more than 100 journalists from Italy, Europe (France, Poland, Sweden, Germany, Norway) and outside Europe (Canada, the U.S., Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Israel, Brazil, and the U.K.) explored the island to discover the richness of its wine and food but also its cultural heritage. The journey into the heart of Sicilian wine began on May 6 with eleven wine tours that took the press to different territories, from Etna to Pantelleria, Marsala to Agrigento, Monreale to Lipari, to visit wineries and participate in cultural activities and nature excursions designed to enjoy Sicily’s immense artistic and scenic heritage. With the tours over, the journalists arrived in Modica where the choral moment of the event took place on May 9 and 10. At the Castello dei Conti, during the AIS-led technical tasting, participants were able to taste more than three hundred labels that offered vibrant evidence of the dynamism and quality of Sicilian wines. More and More attention to content, with four talks on topical issues such as wine communication for the new generations, neuromarketing, and the protection and enhancement of wine production thanks to the new state seal. The day of the 9th then ended in the splendid setting of Modica’s Teatro Garibaldi with the conference “The Culture of Wine in Sicily: a millennial history that looks to the future,” moderated by the deputy editor of Corriere della Sera, Luciano Ferraro. Among the speakers were Master of Wine Andrea Lonardi, Dario Stefàno, president of Centro enoturistico e oleoturistico (Lumsa University), Antonello Maruotti, professor of Statistics (Lumsa University) and Sara Farnetti, Ph.D. in Physiopathology of Metabolism and Nutrition who discussed wine culture understood as informed and conscious drinking, as promotion of the territory through wine tourism, and as environmental protection through good practices in viticulture. Finally, Alessio Planeta, advisor to the SOStain Sicilia Foundation, spoke about the “Sustainable Future of Sicilian Wine.” The event concluded on Saturday, May 10, again at the Castello dei Conti, with a walk-around tasting featuring 57 producers members of Assovini Sicilia, who had the opportunity to tell the press about themselves by offering their labels for tasting. In the afternoon, a delegation of national and foreign journalists took part in the event organized in Ragusa in collaboration with the Enoteca regionale Sud-Est and the Ats Strade del Vino Cerasuolo di Vittoria to discover the wines of the area. Sicilia en Primeur was also the occasion for the collaboration between Assovini Sicilia and La Sicilia di Ulisse, the association that brings together Sicilian excellences in the hospitality, food-and-wine and wine-growing sectors, which organised the event’s closing dinner.

Six consortia, eleven wineries and a dozen events, not to mention the entire Zedcomm team, were the key elements of their participation at Vinitaly 2025. Five days packed with appointments — including the OperaWine preview — where wine and public relations took centre stage. The objective? To give the companies followed by the agency a voice through one-to-one meetings with the press, guided tastings and themed masterclasses. It was a veritable marathon through the pavilions of VeronaFiere, a journey that was both virtual — through the territories narrated by the wines — and decidedly real, judging by the number of steps totalled each day. But beyond the fatigue, what remains are the business cards exchanged like figurines, the valuable encounters — new or rediscovered — the toasts, the surprising tastings and the expected confirmations. It was an experience that celebrated the world of communication and public relations in the wine sector, made up of passion, listening and dedication — values that have always guided Zedcomm’s work.

The Consortium of Alto Adige Wines has partnered with Hearst, a leader in design and architecture, to become the wine partner for three of their most prestigious events during Salone del Mobile 2025. For the second consecutive year, the excellence, elegance and freshness of Alto Adige wines were showcased alongside design to the community that revolves around this major international event. A selection of labels from the Consortium of Alto Adige Wines was the star of the cocktail party and press conference to inaugurate the Elle Decor Alchemica exhibition. This exhibition-installation, conceived by Patricia Urquiola, was staged at Palazzo Bovara and attracted over 65,000 visitors. Another selection of DOC Alto Adige wines was also the star of the Elledecor.it Takeover cocktail party in the splendid setting of Casa Slalom. The collaboration between the worlds of wine, design, and art proved successful once again, gaining great popularity among guests who attended the events and were able to sample the excellent wines of one of Italy’s viticultural gems.
