Budri debut at Monaco Yacht Show

Budri, an Italian company recognized worldwide as Atelier Haute Couture of semi-precious stones and marbles, debuted at the prestigious annual event in the Principality, at the Monaco Yacht Show (25 – 28 September 2019 Port Hercule). On that occasion, Budri presented “AGUA”, the collection designed by Patricia Urquiola. Marble and onyx furnishings and surfaces, from the most amazing quarries in the world, have interpreted the colors of the sea through a new language for the sector.

A new and elegant ultra-thin Venetian made in Bianco Statuario was chosen to elegantly divide the private area from the “lounge area”. Another protagonist of the stand, Lace Screen from the Marblelace collection, a weave of Bianco Carrara marble sweaters, which contrasted with the marine colors of the ultra-thin Agua rug, made with green and blue marble and onyx. To complete the exhibition space, a pair of coffee tables in white marble with a comb texture and the Algas and Papiro vases that stand out for their soft and sinuous lines.

A participation that witnessed the versatility of the Budri reality, specialized for 65 years in tailormade achievements, of high added value and high technical complexity.

Transitions presents #lovelight, a social campaign featuring Federica Pellegrini

On the 25th of September, Milan has hosted a press conference to present a Social campaign by Transitions, brand leader in the photocromatic lenses field, that is, a selection of “photosensitive” lenses – clearer indoors, darker outdoors. Even though until now photocromatic lenses were considered a product thought exclusively for people over 45, today they aim to reach a younger target, too: millennials, a generation that counts 13 million individuals in Italy whose age goes from 23 to 38.
That’s the origin of #lovelight, an influencer project by Transitions featuring a top influencer followed by over one million people: Federica Pellegrini. Starting from September 2019, we’ll see Federica Pellegrini wearing Transitions lenses in her everyday life through the Instagram profile (@kikkafede88). The team is completed by other 4 influencers who have 200K-250K followers and reflect a similar variety of styles: Irene Colzi (@ireneccloset) interprets the fashion side and the colours; Digital Modern Family (@digitalmodernfamily) will give some space to the lifestyle experiences told by a mum, a dad and a daughter; Giovanni Masiero (@giovannimasiero), model and athlete, will reveal the sport-glamourous soul of the brand; the geek and e-games youtuber Jacopo D’Alesio (@jakidale) will express Transitions’ technologic and brilliant side.

Architect@Work Paris 2019: Axolight will be protagonist for telling the eclectic side of lightning technology

The next stop of Architect@Work, the exhibition dedicated to design that attracts architects and experts from all over Europe, will be held in Paris on 26th and 27th September 2019 and will see the presence of Axolight, an Italian lighting company based in Italy and United States, which designs and distributes high-end decorative lamps.

The protagonist of the exhibition space – booth 88 – will be Cut, an adjustable lamp that can be positioned on three positions that will surprise with an innovative and technological design. In addition to Cut, it will be possible to admire two other lighting solutions – Bell and Cloudy – which furnish the Vip Lounge of the fair with elegance.

Marmomac 2019, 54th international natural stone exhibition scheduled 25-28 September

Only a few days to go before Marmomac inauguration – the international exhibition of marble and natural stone scheduled in Verona 25-28 September 2019. An increasingly international and digital exhibition that seeks to promote business and industry culture alongside innovative courses for architects and interior designers, while also paying special attention to artistic experiments and projects involving major luxury brands. One of the most awaited appontments, in fact, is the visit to The Italian Stone Theatre, the Hall dedicated to culture, design and research where sector companies and designers are the protagonists of shows and dedicated areas highlighting Italian excellence in this field through works and installations, which it will have as main theme “Naturality”, the naturalness of stone, considered in its purest aspect.
