“Half a Century of Excellence. The White Wines of Alto Adige: Freshness, Aromas, and Longevity” was the theme of the special evening dedicated to journalists from Campania, held on November 11 in Naples. The Alto Adige Wine Consortium, together with journalist and wine educator Filippo Bartolotta, presented eight wines in a tasting paired with the culinary creations of the young and talented chef Marco Caputi of Ristorante Veritas (1 Michelin Star). Guests had the chance to appreciate the freshness and verticality of three white wines (all 2023 vintages) from three completely different areas of this small oenological gem: Valle Isarco, Val Venosta, and Appiano. They then had the privilege of sampling older vintages of iconic wines from the region, as well as a preview of a label that has yet to be released on the market. The evening brought together industry experts and lifestyle-oriented wine journalists, who engaged with great enthusiasm and interest. It was an opportunity to discuss wine tourism and to highlight the cultural projects promoted by the Consortium: from the book published this year to the film on the Pioneers of Alto Adige and the new generations, presented in Bolzano just a few days earlier. The wines—extraordinary throughout—brilliantly conveyed half a century of history!
