THE FOURTH GENERATION TELLS ABOUT CAVAZZA REBRANDING

On November 28, we held a press lunch to present the new rebranding project of the Cavazza company.


BRIEF

The event took place from 15 to 17 June in the splendid Orsini Fortress in Sorano, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma in the province of Grosseto. Organised by the Consortium for the Protection of Wines of the Tuscan Maremma, with which we have been working for over eight years, the event – aimed at operators and wine lovers – was born from the synergy between the Consortium itself, Ciliegiolo Academy, Ciliegiolo d’Italia and FISAR Delegazione Colline Maremmane, while the organising agency was MExTE Eventi. The aim: to put the spotlight on Ciliegiolo, an indigenous grape variety that is currently experiencing a moment of rediscovery.


ACTIVITIES

Zed_Comm was in charge of selecting the Italian and foreign press and managing them on site, in particular during the exclusive press preview on 15 June, before the event opened its doors to the public and operators over the following days. This involved inviting and reminding journalists, producing all the press material, managing the logistics for the twenty guests invited by the Consortium, organising travel and theme dinners where numerous denominations were tasted. We also produced several press releases to announce the event in the local press and Tuscan daily newspapers, as well as in the national trade press, with the aim of increasing attendance at the event. We also handled the social communication through the official channels of the Consortium.


OUTCOMES

The event was attended by some of the most important publications in the sector (Italian and European) and a few content creators selected together with the organisers. Guests were able to attend a dinner on the 14th at the famous Il Caveau restaurant in Pitigliano, visit the characteristic Borghi del Tufo, take part in a technical tasting on the Saturday and attend a masterclass given by the great French wine expert Christian Roger. The best pure Ciliegiolo labels from the Tuscan Maremma will be tasted, of course, but also from other areas of Tuscany and the whole of Italy, such as Umbria, Liguria, Marche and Emilia Romagna, which the press will tell their readers about.

THE FOURTH GENERATION TELLS ABOUT CAVAZZA REBRANDING

On November 28, we held a press lunch to present the new rebranding project of the Cavazza company.


BRIEF

The fourth generation of the family, made up of cousins Stefano, Mattia, Elisa and Andrea, decided to tell with a new visual identity and strong press office support the 100-year history of the Vicenza-based company, a pioneer in the two territories of Gambellara and Colli Berici


ACTIVITIES

Zed_Comm took care of the selection of the press to be invited in addition to all the work of inviting and recalling journalists. She then took care of the management of the event and the lunch timeline, liaising with the client to best manage all the key points to be told to the press.


OUTCOMES

The event was attended by leading local newspapers, as well as editors of national wine guides and Key opinion Leaders in the wine industry. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the history of the family and the major rebranding project underway, both in terms of the labels and the website. Very interesting insights came out of this translated into articles with great personality

A PRESS LUNCH WITH ANNALISA ZORZETTIG

On November 16, we joined Annalisa Zorzettig in the presentation of the newest vintages of Myò and future projects of the winery, which is increasingly focused on the figure of winemaker Annalisa. For the occasion, a lunch was organized at Verso restaurant in Milan, with a menu elaborated together with the chefs Mario and Remo Capitaneo to enhance the wines.


BRIEF

The winery wanted to create an event aimed at the national wine press to present the new vintages in an elegant setting, entirely dedicated to the winery. The goal was to give space to the new vintages of six wines selected together with the winery, but also to tell the story of Zorzettig, creating various interlocal moments.


ACTIVITIES

Zed_Comm took care of the direct contact with the event location, the evaluation of the menu, the selection of the press to be invited in addition to all the work of inviting and recalling journalists. We took care of the event management and lunch timeline, liaising with the client to best manage all the key points to be told to the press.


OUTCOMES

The event was attended by more than fifteen wine journalists in an atmosphere of curiosity about Zorzettig and its program. The press was able to get to know the family as well as possible and then recount their activities and work as fully as possible. The event made it possible to create new relationships with some newspapers and strengthen ties with those already known.

“Oltrepò – Terra di Pinot Nero: un territorio, un vitigno, due eccellenze”. Third edition.

“OLTREPÒ – TERRA DI PINOT NERO: UN TERRITORIO, UN VITIGNO, DUE ECCELLENZE”. THIRD EDITION.

The “Oltrepò – Terra di Pinot Nero” event was held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at the Tenuta Pegazzera estate in Casteggio, in the province of Pavia. 34 wineries took part in the exhibition – now in its third edition and well known in the area – and had the opportunity to have their wines tasted by an audience of journalists and trade operators, in the context of a historic 18th-century villa in the heart of the Oltrepò Pavese.


BRIEF

The event was strongly desired by a group of virtuous wineries to enhance the excellence of Pinot Noir from Oltrepò Pavese, from the bubbly “Metodo Classico” with the finest perlage, to the elegant Pinot Nerovinified in red. Sponsored and organized with the support of the Consorzio Tutela Vini Oltrepò Pavese, the initiative aimed at enhancing the territory, its two appellations – Oltrepò Pavese Metodo Classico DOCG and Pinot Nero dell’Oltrepò Pavese DOC – and its producers, as well as attracting the Italian and international press on the one hand, and “commercial” representatives of the wine world on the other: sommeliers, restaurateurs, agents, wine merchants, distributors, and wine industry representatives.

 


ACTIVITIES
The initiative was held on Monday, a perfect for “trade” representatives and was entirely dedicated to Pinot Nero and its dual soul. All day long, there was a walk around tasting with free tasting stations for 34 producers. In the morning there was the inauguration of the event, with the ribbon cutting by the President of the Consorzio Gilda Fugazza, the Director Carlo Veronese and authorities. There were then two masterclasses, led by two expert communicators in the world of wine, respectively Jacopo Cossater for the first one dedicated to Oltrepò Pavese Metodo Classico DOCG and Filippo Bartolotta for the second one, on Pinot Nero dell’Oltrepò Pavese DOC, vinified in red. A light lunch was also planned for guests, with typical products of Oltrepò Pavese cuisine

OUTCOMES

The event was attended by more than 270 guests, who were able to taste more than 100 labels from the exhibiting wineries: about 70 journalists, bloggers and communicators, and more than 200  “trade” representatives from the wine sector. The initiative was also important in terms of visibility and brand awareness thanks to the press that reported on it in newspapers, magazines, blogs and social channels.
