Milan, the eyewear capital with Mido. From February 8 to 10, Milan became the global eyewear capital, hosting the industry’s most important trade event at the Fieramilano Rho-Pero exhibition center. The event brought together 1,200 exhibitors from 50 countries and 42,000 visitors from 160 nations, marking a +9% increase compared to the previous year. A must-attend event for optical professionals, industry companies, and international media, Mido showcased the latest innovations in lenses, frames, machinery, and contact lenses. The ZedComm team participated throughout the three-day event, guiding national and international trade press through their clients’ booths. The agenda was packed with meetings and in-depth discussions, focusing on the synergy between communication and innovation. Adding to the event’s dynamism was a select group of influencers, including fashion and beauty bloggers and gamers, with a combined following of over one million on TikTok and several hundred thousand on Instagram. Their booth visits helped amplify the storytelling around new products, reaching a younger, trend-conscious audience. The Milan eyewear fair reaffirmed itself as an unmissable event for industry professionals, journalists, and optical experts, solidifying its role as an international hub for business and communication. The growing importance of both trade and consumer communication in the optical and eyewear sector highlights the need for integrated strategies to enhance brand positioning and showcase innovation. The next edition of Mido Milan will take place in 2026 from January 31 to February 2 with dates moved forward to avoid overlapping with events related to Winter Olympics Milan Cortina 2026. The 2025 edition of Un Mare di Foglie, the renowned event dedicated to organic and sustainable wine, successfully concluded at the evocative Stazione Marittima in Salerno. This year’s gathering celebrated the excellence of Italian ‘green’ wines, as featured in the sixth edition of Guida Bio, attracting an extraordinary turnout of wine lovers and industry professionals. Over the weekend, visitors had the opportunity to taste more than 1,000 labels, engage with producers, and delve into the stories and techniques that define the world of organic winemaking. One of the highlights was the official presentation of the guide, followed by the much-anticipated Foglie d’Oro awards, which were met with great enthusiasm.The event also welcomed distinguished guests, including renowned figures such as Florindo Rubbettino, Alessandro D’Elia, Maria Grazia Mammuccini, Vincenzo Mercurio, Marco Tonni, and Ettore Bellelli.”This edition’s success is just the beginning,” stated Antonio Stanzione. “The growing participation of producers, experts, and enthusiasts confirms that organic wine is set to become the cornerstone of Italian oenology. Brachetto d’Acqui and Ernst Knam: the perfect praline for Valentine’s Day

On Thursday 6th February, in Milan, the Consorzio Tutela Vini d’Acqui and the Chef and Maître Chocolatier Ernst Knam presented BRAK, a limited edition selection of pralines that exalts the encounter between Brachetto d’Acqui DOCG and chocolate. During an exclusive cooking show, the ‘King of Chocolate’ created three chocolates filled with Brachetto, designed to enhance its floral and fruity notes and intense ruby colour. With its low alcohol content and perfect balance between sweetness and freshness, Brachetto d’Acqui proved to be an extremely versatile wine, capable of accompanying not only desserts, but also surprising savoury combinations. The event was attended by journalists and influencers, who were able to taste these gastronomic delicacies.
