Cleto Munari’s eyewear collection premiered at Mondelliani shop

On 21 September at Mondelliani in Via dei Prefetti 11 in Rome, the international preview presentation of Cleto Munari’s eyewear collection took place at the presence of the artist. Passionate about eyewear, design accessories and art since 1961, the ‘Mondelliani’ have distinguished themselves over the years for their scrupulous and futuristic research work by travelling around the world to find the most extraordinary models, becoming a point of reference for innovative and unconventional designs.In his 50 years of artistic production, Cleto Munari once again chooses to express his creativity in a different sphere, creating a collection of signature objects poised between art and design. Concave and convex, empty and full. Each shape is a stratification of Cleto Munari’s artistic and intellectual experiences. The collection consists of 13 models. Colour is an indispensable part of the compositional game: it cleverly reveals the playful aspect of the collection. “Colour is much more than a ‘verb’ for me: it is essence like form,” Cleto Munari declares.

MEI System opens the doors of its headquarter in Ponte San Pietro (BG) to welcome the trade press!

A global leader in the production of ophthalmic lens cutting machines, MEI System welcomed Italian journalists from the optical trade for the first time at its headquarters in Ponte San Pietro (BG). It was an opportunity to present the company’s beautiful headquarters – inaugurated in 2016 – and soon to be further expanded, its new international branches, and to delve into the company’s activities as well as the machinery presented that have led it to be one of the reference realities on the world scene and industrial excellence of Made in Italy. The day ended with a tour of the production plant. A fast-growing reality that, thanks to the passion of the founders – Stefano Sonzogni and Raffaele Scudeletti – and an important research team has over the years launched on the market innovative machinery with a very high technological rate, for the optics sector for large and small laboratories, thus registering constantly growing results.

Known for his prominent roles in successful films such as “Gladiator” and “A Beautiful Mind,” Crowe never ceases to surprise us, both on and off the screen. After an intense week in Italy, filled with leisure moments and musical commitments with his band, Indoor Garden Party, Crowe flew to the Czech Republic to attend the 57th edition of the prestigious Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. He walked the red carpet wearing a pair of Blackfin sunglasses, the Copeland model. The renowned Hollywood star also stylishly sported his Blackfin sunglasses during his Italian tour, maintaining an unmistakable look. His love for the brand was so great that he expressed it in a Tweet where he recommended, “When you wear a tuxedo in the afternoon, don’t forget your Blackfin sunglasses!“

The departure is from a hot Milan, to throw in Valle d’Aosta Valley to discover the wines of this area. This is the press day organized by Zedcomm for a group of Milanese journalists to reach on of the historic companies in the Aosta Valley: Grosjean Vins. Wine producers in the Aosta Valley since 1600, the Grosjean family has been able to perfectly combine history, tradition, inventiveness and innovation, in the vineyard and in the cellar. However, it is the “human factor”, represented by the deep bond that each of its members has for their work and their land, that has made it one of the vigneron families that have made Aosta Valley enology important. This bond renewed today by the third generation of the “modern era”, with the management of the Grosjean Vins cellar passed to the young Hervé, Didier, Simon and Marco.
